Exotic Bird Expo

The Rand Avicultural Society (RAS) proudly presents an Exotic Bird Expo at the Hillfox Market on October 23 and 24, 2010. From Parrots and finches to softbills, doves and groundbirds, the Expo will cover virtually the full spectrum of bird species.

Bird displays and write-ups will inform would-be aviculturists on bird care, housing and breeding requirements, and a limited number of birds will be on sale. The West Rand Bird Farm will participate with demonstrations on the hand rearing of baby parrots; with a variety of aviaries, bird accessories, nests, bird food and more on show and for sale.

The Expo opens from 10am to 4pm daily and entrance is free.
