Milly has been found

Milly has been found and is back home at the Montecasino Bird Gardens. She has had several tests done including a blood sample that was taken, to check for any disease or irregularities.

This was done whilst she was in isolation (quarantine) as she may have picked up something during her escapades across the country. She was cleared for reintroduction and was sent back to her house mate Pedro, a Green Wing Macaw, on Tuesday March 22, 2011.

Pedro was a little sceptical with the arrival of Milly back in her space but by Wednesday morning they are best friends and have settled well. Milly has been reintroduced into the training regime with the hope of her being ready for show on our 10th Birthday.

Our Birthday celebrations start on April 27, 2011 with many festivities and celebrations during the day.
