Howdi People of Weltevreden Park!

For those of us that live in and around Weltevreden Park i am sure you will agree with me that it is an awesome area to live in.

However there are a couple of concerns that i need to bring to the table! Obviously the first concern is that the crime in the area is climbing every day! With House break-ins becoming as normal as birds in the gardens.

It has become clear that our Policing in the area and most area's for that matter is pathetic. What are the Police and Us "The residents" of Weltevreden going to do about this? I am not for one second saying take the law into your own hands, but something needs to be done.

The next issue is one of road conditions and road works which seems to be an everyday normality. Wouldn't it be nice if the council or the roads agency would distribute flyers to let the residents know what is happening. For example, there have been talks of a major road being constructed which will go straight through Weltevreden Park, when is that going to happen if ever?

On the Corner of Jim Fouche and Marais they are digging like crazy. Does anyone have any idea of what is happening? Lets face it "NO ONE" bothers the let us "THE TAX PAYER" know what is happening in our own area! And all be it that they are trying in every attempt to better our roads, with construction comes crime. Car Jacking's, House Break-in's etc etc.

I am appealing to everyone who cares about the area the live in to voice their opinions and lets get some answers.
